I'm the award-winning author of Scar Tissue, which tells my incredible story of having eight heart surgeries, nearly dying three times, and overcoming impossible odds! Since my last surgery, I walk. A lot. I'm inviting you to join me on one of my walking adventures. The walk will help benefit The Ottawa Heart Institute and Toronto's SickKids Hospital and bring awareness to childhood Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). Both hospitals I know very well, and both hospitals I proudly support.
